California Personal Injury Attorneys

Los Angeles Mass Transit Accident Lawyers

Recovering compensation after a serious injury is always challenging, but when the injury occurred due to an accident with a public transit vehicle, the task is even more difficult.

Bus, railway and subway systems are operated and regulated by governmental entities. A different set of rules apply to those agencies. Taxis, shuttle services and other common carriers must follow government regulations, but poor training, high turnover of drivers, and fly-by-night operations can make it cumbersome to try to hold the responsible parties accountable.

A Powerful Legal Team

The law firm of Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP, has the skills, experience, and resources needed to handle even the most complex mass transit accident case. In addition to 12 successful trial attorneys, GB&W's legal team includes in-house investigators and professionals whose work is invaluable in enabling our firm to achieve its impressive record of success in MTA accident cases and other mass transit injury litigation.

From independent engineering experts who discover exactly how products fail or crashes occur to staff investigators who locate hard-to-find witnesses, GB&W's comprehensive and extensive evidence-gathering resources strengthen our clients' claims and maximize the compensation they may receive for their injuries.

Our Evidence Warehouse

Personal injury cases are won or lost based on the persuasiveness of the evidence at trial, which can rest on the effective use of models, accident reconstructions, computer simulations and other demonstrative evidence. The GB&W evidence warehouse plays a pivotal role in helping us prepare a strong case. Crash scene reenactments, product testing, parts analysis, modeling, and live trial demonstrations are all done at our evidence warehouse. Amongst other things, we often conduct post-crash examinations, striation tests, and design and mechanical reviews of damaged and exemplar models.

Every time evidence at our evidence warehouse is viewed, inspected, or involved in reenactments with opposing counsel and/or their experts, the process is videotaped. This prevents evidence from being lost, destroyed or changed, which can easily occur during litigation investigations.

Bringing It Home to a Jury

For most firms, it is less expensive and more convenient to project slides or submit charts of oversized damaged vehicles, gas tanks and complicated machinery. However, this can be inadequate to the task of helping the jury understand the complete picture. Our presentation of evidence eliminates confusion and allows for a clearer understanding of the facts of the case. Judges and juries have visited our evidence warehouse to view firsthand the mangled wreck of a vehicle in which the occupants died.

If you suffered catastrophic injuries, or your loved one died in a public transportation or MTA accident, your case deserves thorough investigation and skillful presentation. Contact the attorneys of Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP. Clients pay no upfront costs or fees. Our fees are tied to the amount of compensation we obtain in each case. We negotiate favorable referral fees when permissible by law.
